The Department of Ecology and Evolution is hosting the sixth annual Sensorium conference in Chicago this year at the Field Museum. This regional sensory ecology meeting brings together researchers from several institutions across the Midwest for a weekend of exciting presentations on the latest research in sensory biology and sensory ecology, associated with interesting conversations and socializing with colleagues.
Held from November 11th to 12th, this conference will include two days of talks and posters on sensory ecology. There will also be an afternoon symposium on Saturday, November 11th in honor of Department of Ecology and Evolution Professor Emeritus Dr. Stephen Pruett-Jones, featuring talks from former students and a keynote given by Dr. Pruett-Jones. On Sunday afternoon, participants will have the opportunity to tour the Field Museum.
Registration and abstract submissions are open and available on the conference website. The abstract submission deadline is October 20th. Join us for this annual event to stay abreast of the latest research on sensory ecology and rub shoulders with kindred spirits.
